Why We Are Taking This Sabbatical
After 32 years in pastoral ministry, we’ve been given the gift of a sabbatical season to rest, reflect, and listen more intentionally to the Lord.
Sabbaticals are not vacations. They are invitations.
They create space to step back from normal responsibilities in order to gain renewed clarity, deeper spiritual attentiveness, and fresh vision for the future.
This journey will take Lori and me across the Atlantic Ocean, through several regions of Europe, and ultimately to Paris. Along the way, we hope to slow down enough to notice what is often missed in everyday life and ministry.

How You Can Pray
If you’d like to pray for us during this journey:
Pray for rest
Pray for clarity
Pray for attentiveness
Pray for insight
Pray for safe travel
What We Are Hoping God Will Do During This Time
During these weeks, we are praying for:
• spiritual renewal
• clarity for the next season of ministry
• deeper attentiveness to God’s voice
• fresh perspective shaped by rest and reflection
• gratitude for what God has already done
Most of all, we are asking the Lord to help us return with clearer hearts and a stronger sense of His direction.
